Hotel GM & Directors Group

The Hotel GM & Directors Meeting is a collaborative forum that brings together hospitality leaders to share insight, discuss challenges, and support one another in navigating the evolving landscape of the industry. Originally established in 2010 as a small gathering of 3-star hoteliers, the group quickly grew in both scope and relevance. Within a few years, it expanded to include 4-star hotels, and later welcomed participation from select B&Bs, reflecting a broader cross-section of the accommodation sector. 

Meeting three times a year, the group provides a valuable space for open discussion around the key issues affecting the industry and hearing from suppliers who support us ranging from operational pressures and staffing to market trends and guest expectations. These sessions are not just informational but are designed to encourage collaboration, allowing members to share experiences, exchange ideas, and learn from one another in a supportive environment. 

Ultimately, the purpose of these meetings is to strengthen the local hospitality network. By working collaboratively and using each other as a sounding board, attendees are better equipped to make informed decisions, adapt to change, and improve their individual businesses while contributing to the overall success of the industry.
