About the committee
Who are BH Area Hospitality Association?
The BH Area Hospitality Association has been the collective voice of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole hospitality industry since 2002.
We were founded by people working in the sector who could see that accommodation providers and hospitality businesses needed a shared forum to advocate for the destination, and to support each other through the challenges that come with running a hospitality business.
More than two decades on, that founding principle hasn't changed. It is still run by people who work in the industry it represents. Our committee is made up of general managers, directors and operators from across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, alongside representatives from key supplier businesses. They give their time voluntarily because they're invested in the future of this destination.
Our events, our advocacy, our training and our member communications are all shaped by people who understand the day-to-day reality of running a hospitality business in this part of the country.
